Ear, Nose & Throat

ENT Panel and Treatment Guidance

Sozo Dx’s ENT panel was developed in consultation with Ear, Nose, and Throat Surgeons, Otolaryngologists, Pharmacologists, Molecular Scientists and Microbiologists.

Panel Highlights

Sozo Dx’s ENT Services

Comprehensive Coverage

Concurrently identify 49 bacterial and fungal pathogens from nasal swabs, exterior ear swabs, ear swabs post myringotomy, surgical nasal polyp biopsies and balloon sinuplasty procedures.

Semi-Quantitative

PCR results are semi-quantitative for providers to understand level of pathogen infection.

Antibiotic Sensitivity

Report multiple aerobic pathogen antibiotic sensitivity in polymicrobial sinus and ear infections.

Advanced Detection

Our PCR Menu allows us to recover copies of DNA extremely fast. Our microbiology division will confirm viability of organisms present and follow up with phenotypic antibiotic guidance.

Fast Turnaround

Our molecular and microbiology report turn around time is 24 hours from time of receipt.
